My work is a introspection of the existing tension between two gestures: taking photography, collecting and manipulating found images.
The different uses of the photography are the focus of my multidisciplinary practice where the re-edition of computer generated images, archives and scanned images complete each other, in some prints or on site installations.
I assert myself with the simplicity of gesture,
humor and derision.
The aesthetic of the raw images I bring forward are often disconcerting, they make us wonder about our traditional conception of the photography.
By using images as symptoms of our society, I produce unusual images, full of associations. My work questions the complex and tormented existing relation amongst the individual, his environment, his image and his identity.
